課程概述 |
This course is designed to teach academic research paper writing, especially for students who expect to enter graduate program or go abroad for further study. Students are encouraged to write on topical issues, and their papers will be used as samples for class discussion and peer learning. Business writing (letters, resume, memo, study plan/proposal, report, etc.) will be taught in the second semester.

課程目標 |
This course aims to strengthen students' logical thinking and argumentation skills, to develop their own central ideas while incorporating other references, to avoid plagiarism by summarizing and paraphrasing other people's ideas. |
課程要求 |
1. Write 1 or 2 papers of more solid content (in total 15 pages per semester).
2. Participate actively in class discussion and brainstorming.
3. Read students’ own papers in class to practice oral presentation.
